Writing is Imagination in Flight

About Me

My photo
Ruth J. Hartman spends her days herding cats, and her nights spinning mysterious romantic tales that make you smile and laugh out loud - or so she's been told my readers! She, her husband Garry, and their two cats, love to spend time curled up in their recliners watching old Cary Grant movies. Well, the cats, Roxy and Remmie, sit in the people's recliners. Not that the cats couldn't get their own furniture. They just choose to shed on someone else's. You know how selfish those little furry creatures can be.

Contracts Signed!

Just signed two writing contracts. One is for my romance novel, Flossophy of Grace. The other is for an inclusion into a romance anthology called Must Love Cats, of which my story is Purr. E-books should be available shortly, and print versions probably in a few months. The publisher is Midnight Showcase Fiction. The e-mails I've had with them have been warm and friendly. I'm very much looking forward to working with them!

New Novel in the Works

While I'm waiting for my two newest books/stories to be printed at the publishers, I'm working on my most recent novel about a tooth fairy. It's not your usual kids' story. This one is a romance. Stay tuned for more updates to come!

New Romance Novel

After I explained what my upcoming book is about to a friend, he asked me if that was even ethical - for a dental hygienist to date one of her patients. I wondered about that, too, but decided that this was fiction, so I really wasn't concerned about it. It's also, romance, which as far as I'm concerned, says it all: If two people are meant to be together, they'll work through the rest!
