Writing is Imagination in Flight

About Me

My photo
Ruth J. Hartman spends her days herding cats, and her nights spinning mysterious romantic tales that make you smile and laugh out loud - or so she's been told my readers! She, her husband Garry, and their two cats, love to spend time curled up in their recliners watching old Cary Grant movies. Well, the cats, Roxy and Remmie, sit in the people's recliners. Not that the cats couldn't get their own furniture. They just choose to shed on someone else's. You know how selfish those little furry creatures can be.

Book Signing for "Pillow Talk"

Hi all, Trixie here.

Ruth and I had a wonderful book signing yesterday! Several people bought books, a bunch of friends and family stopped by, and Ruth even had a surprise visit from her brother and sister-in-law. A good friend took pictures of the signing, so hopefully some may turn up on Facebook soon.

Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by. It was a blast! And for anyone who wanted to make it but couldn't, don't worry, there are still copies at Hastings Bookstore in Richmond. Also, Ruth will have books at the Christmas Village at the Kuhlman Center in Richmond, Indiana on Friday Nov. 12th, and Saturday, Nov. 13th. And you can also order them online at

Until next time,

Who Knew Dentists Were Such Good Kissers?

Trixie here, hope all my readers are doing okay! When you read "Pillow Talk", you'll see what I mean about dentists and kissing. Dr. Graham Keebler is...amazing, stupendous, perfect. And I'm really not exaggerating. Really! I've never been in love before, and people always say you'll just know. They were right. When you know, you know. There's no doubt Graham's the one for me. Now just to figure out how all the tooth fairy stuff fits in. I know, I said it would never work, and I still don't see how it will. But, it's Mr. Amazing we're talking about here. It has to work. It just has to!!! If any of you have any ideas for me, leave a comment and Ruth will get them to me.

Thanks!

Blog Tour is Over, But Trixie is Back!

Okay...I know I've been very busy supervising Ruth Hartman's book, "Pillow Talk" during its blog tour, but I'm back now. It's been quite a busy few weeks, that's for sure! I'm exhausted from spending time at a different person's blog every day. It was fun, though, and the people who hosted us were so nice.

Now where were we? Right. I was telling you about my fantastic date with Graham Keebler. He's so sweet. So handsome. So...perfect. Sigh. And therein lies the problem.

You see, as wonderful as he is, and as our date was, it hit me that it can never be, Graham and me. How could it? He can never know I'm a tooth fairy. I'm not supposed to tell anyone. Not that he would believe me anyway. And I couldn't go all through life in a relationship with him and not tell him something that important. That's not me. I wouldn't want to live a lie. So, I told him it was over. He's not taking it well, though. For that matter, neither am I. I'm miserable. What's a tooth fairy who's in love with her dentist supposed to do?
