Writing is Imagination in Flight

About Me

My photo
Ruth J. Hartman spends her days herding cats, and her nights spinning mysterious romantic tales that make you smile and laugh out loud - or so she's been told my readers! She, her husband Garry, and their two cats, love to spend time curled up in their recliners watching old Cary Grant movies. Well, the cats, Roxy and Remmie, sit in the people's recliners. Not that the cats couldn't get their own furniture. They just choose to shed on someone else's. You know how selfish those little furry creatures can be.

Always Use the Right Equipment

While sitting at my laptop going through e-mail, I reached to my left to click my mouse. I pressed and pressed. Why wasn't it clicking? Did it need a new battery? Or maybe one of my large cats had sat on it one too many times. That stupid mouse! It's not all that old. It should last longer than that! I glanced down to check the problem. And saw my mistake.
A friend had asked me to paint a rock for her family member. I found the perfect shaped rock and set it aside for her. I didn't want to leave it in with the other rocks in the communal rock box, because then they get confused as to who the lucky rock is who gets to be painted next. You can guess where the convenient place was I decided to set the rock in question, from the picture below.

The rock pictured isn't the one I'm painting for her, but you get the idea.

Hmmm. More caffeine anyone?

Aw that is a sweet wee story and fairy funny!

You realize some cultures celebrate a Tooth Mouse rather than Tooth Fairy don't you?
