Writing is Imagination in Flight

About Me

My photo
Ruth J. Hartman spends her days herding cats, and her nights spinning mysterious romantic tales that make you smile and laugh out loud - or so she's been told my readers! She, her husband Garry, and their two cats, love to spend time curled up in their recliners watching old Cary Grant movies. Well, the cats, Roxy and Remmie, sit in the people's recliners. Not that the cats couldn't get their own furniture. They just choose to shed on someone else's. You know how selfish those little furry creatures can be.

Over a Fence

Romance novelist Cora Dumont needs a place to land after college. So when her parents ask her to housesit for a year, she jumps at the chance. Being home stirs up feelings for Drew, a former neighbor. Too bad he’d never given her the time of day. When Drew Dunkirk moves back home, he doesn’t expect to run into Cora. Seeing her brings back the crush he had on her in high school, has him hoping to finally act on those feelings. But Drew’s fence becomes a point of contention between them and the fur flies. Will the fence separate them in more ways than one?
